NovaLogic vs Activision – Request To Continue Trial DENIED by Court

A proposed order granting request to continue the trial and other related deadlines was denied by the court July 15th, 2013.

This is not very surprising knowing the ruling made last month granting Activison motion for partial summary judgement.

So with the removal of Wupass /Scharnhorst and Ice Man’s profiles from Nova Do we assume that after losing the court case and probably bankrupting themselves with lawyer fees that this is the end of Nova , Well its been a great ride many lost hours of fun , made a few friends along the way , banned a lot of hacking bastards as well which made it all worthwhile …….

It’s not just the Nova staff pages “vanishing”, it’s happened across the whole database to all Gold members. The pages for Silver members are still visible, the servers and forums are still up and there is a new announcement from Nova on their “news” page that says:

“NovaLogic will be conducting server maintenance starting today, August 12. Users can expect intermittent service over the next few days, and we will notify users when the maintenance is complete. Thank you.”

My take on this, probably another database problem along with the “lost” JO stats. Still, it would be nice to hear from Nova in the forums about it.
